The victim identified as Praise Lugoloobi Nakavubu, who was a pupil at at Katente Church of Uganda primary school, disappeared on Thursday last week, which was her third day to school.
After parents and relatives hunting for her in vain, the police managed to recover her body lying in a thicket in Nakisunga Sub-county, where it had been dumped by her murderers.

Nawume Namata, the victim’s mother, said that she opened a case of a missing person at Nakisunga police station and made adverts via different media platforms after her daughter disappeared.
The Head of Crime Investigations at Mukono Police Division, Joseph Zziwa, attributed the murder human sacrifice, saying that investigations are still ongoing as police hunt down the murderers.
He cautioned parents against sending their children to and from school unaccompanied by trusted people.
The victim’s body was later conveyed by the police to Mulago National Referral Hospital pending a detailed postmortem report as investigations continue.
