A Ugandan couple based in the United States of America (USA) is mourning the untimely death of their son, who reportedly drowned in a pond on Wednesday.
The couple identified as Samuel Kkonde and Harriet Lwanga, of Lowell, MA, lost their three-year-aged son Harry Kkonde.
Preliminary reports indicate that Harry was found dead in a pond shortly after he had been dropped off at the babysitter’s home.
It is however not yet clear how the boy ended up falling and drowning in the pond yet he was supposed to be under the watchful eye of the babysitter.
Harry had earlier on Tuesday been reported missing and a search party formed by residents of Lowell, MA for him, only for his body to be discovered in the pond later on.
We have since established from sources in London that a vigil has been organised at 34 Wellworth St, Lowell MA, where friends and family will converge with the bereaved parents.
The sources also reveal that A go fund me campaign has been created to help out the family with the funeral arrangements and repatriation of the body to Uganda for proper internment.
