Soccer Ace Ssenfuka Quits Vipers For Greener Pastures

Celebrated soccer Rahmat Ssenfuka, who is a prolific midfielder, has quit Lawrence Mulindwa’s Vipers Sports Club by mutual consent after spending two seasons with  the team.

Ssenfuka, who has since gone on a search for greener pastures, joined Vipers from Police FC in June 2018 and helped the Club reach the quarterfinals of the Cecafa Kagame Cup on his debut in 2018. He helped Vipers FC win the Pilsner Super 8 trophy and the Uganda Premier League last season.

Announcing his move, Ssenfuka posted the following statement on social media: “With due respect, it’s time to move on after two fantastic seasons with Vipers SC. Great thanks to the management, the fans, fellow teammates, Coaches, the staff & everybody who was part of my journey since June 2018. Special thanks to the President of the Club, Doctor Lawrence Mulindwa. I shall always stay part of Vipers in memories & wish the club the best. Each journey has a start & an end.”

However, although many people at Vipers appreciate Ssenfuka’s contribution to the team, he has left a huge gap that the Club now has to fill.

But Ssenfuka has since left many of his fans guessing which team  he is set to join after his stint at Vipers FC.

We shall surely bring you the updates ASAP.
