It is no longer rumours that Stanbic Bank Executive Director Anne Juuko and city lawyer Apollo Nelson Makubuya are dating.
The two, who got engaged in January this year, have embarked on a journey to making their relationship official by walking down the aisle.
This comes after Moles revealing that Anne on Sunday officially unveils Makubuya to her parents during a traditional ceremony known as ‘Kukyala’, during which the fiancé visits the fiancée’s parents.
Makubuya, who is a senior partner at MMAKS Advocates, has been dating Anne for a long time following the demise of his wife Stella Mukasa, who passed away in 2015.

In a private message to family and friends, Makubuya said: “Dear friends, I am pleased to announce that Omumbejja Anne N. Juuko and I were engaged this last Sunday. We plan to get married this year. We thank all of you for your love and support. God bless.”
Makubuya, Moles reveal, was accompanied to the highly private function by a few of his learned colleagues.
After their ‘Kukyala’ the couple is now slated to hold a massive ‘Kwanjula’ (Introduction) ceremony, which will be followed shortly thereafter by their wedding.
Makubuya’s late wife Mukasa was a lawyer and at the time of her demise she had produced three children with him who include; Athena, Angela and Andrea.
Makubuya is a Ugandan corporate lawyer and author, who serves as the chairperson of the board of directors at Equity Bank Uganda Limited, one of Uganda’s commercial banks, having been appointed to that position in March 2017.
