This morning, the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 16 draw was held at FUFA House in Mengo. The winners of these fixtures which will be played over two legs of home and away will proceed to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
One of the highly anticipated matches is 10-time winners Express FC hosting tax collectors the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA FC) at Wnkulukuku Stadium on dates that will be communicated by FUFA. URA have won the Ugnd Cup three times.
Other mouthwatering fixtures include Uganda Peoples Defense Forces (UPDF FC) hosting moneybags Vipers SC who are looking for a second Uganda Cup honour.
In another fixture, 10-time winners Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) will visit Maroons FC in the first leg, and they have already expressed their excitement with the fixture by tweeting a cheeky message to their opponents.

FUFA Deputy Chief Executive officer in charge of football Decolas Kiiza hs called upon the clubs to bide by the set tournament regulations.
“We call upon the clubs to abide by the regulations as they are set. We want to thank our own competition directorate that has been at the centre stage of organising this competition and we want to pledge that they will continue doing their best. May the best team win,” Kiiza said.
