Popular TV star Sheilah Gashumba, the daughter of activist Frank Gashumba, this week tickled National Resistance Movement (NRM) presidential candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa, by challenging him to exhibit what he has done for the past 35 years, before Ugandans can give him another term in office.
“@KagutaMuseveni you claim to want to Secure Our Future, but all we seem to hear about is 1986 before we were born. First tell us what you have been up to for the past 35 years before we can consider 5 more,” Sheilah tweeted on Tuesday.
She later tweeted asking Bobi Wine to expound on what he intends to do if he is elected president.
Although Bobi Wine is yet to respond to Sheila’s question, President Museveni took it upon to reply to Sheilah’s query by tweeting thus;
“@SheilahGashumba My Muzukulu, Iam glad you are taking interest in the affairs of our nation. Nation building is not a sprint but a marathon and we invite you to join this journey.”
He followed the tweet with a link to his website yowerikmuseveni.com, inviting Sheilah to click on it for full details about the achievements that the NRM government has registered in Uganda.
