The rivalry between two of the greatest football players of all time Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is not done yet. Although the two phenomenal players have proved themselves on all levels of world football and their performances perfectly justifies their greatness, the question of who is better is still very much asked among football fans.
Last night’s Champions League draw where Messi’s Barcelona was drawn in the same group with Cristiano’s Juventus will not answer that question, but the results from that group will accelerate the debate even further.
Eyes will definitely be on the two teams with fans looking out for things like who scored more in the group, which player dribbled more and faster, how many slide tackles did they attempt, who had the best haircut, and whose jersey looked better among others.
You are probably not even wondering why I am not talking about other members in the group because they do not matter. It is only Cristiano and Messi that do. That is how great the two leading Champions League goal scorers are.
