It is a whole new era at the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) following the takeover of Rosemary Kisembo as the new boss.
Mrs. Kisembo, who was the head of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA), has today been sworn as the new NIRA Executive Director.
“Ms Rosemary Kisembo takes an oath as our new Executive Director. The NIRA family welcomes her aboard,” NIRA tweeted Friday afternoon.
Kisembo takes over from Mrs. Judy Obitre Gama, whose contract run out last year.
A dedicated transformer, Kisembo is a Software Engineer, IT Specialist and IT Project Lead with extensive experience and multi-faceted skills in adopting relevant technologies for business transformation with the goal of productivity.
Over the years she has improved service delivery and turnaround time with marked efficiency gains.
She has designed, Aligned and Executed ICT Strategy, Developed Policies and Standard Operating Procedures for UNRA over time.
She has also Carried out wide-ranging process design, analysis, acquisition of technologies including Enterprise Resource Planning and Project Management tools during her tenure at UNRA.
