The Commander In Chief of the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who is also the President of Uganda, has said that the UPDF is confident and ready to win any war should Uganda be attacked by enemies.
President Museveni made the remarks Friday at the Migyera based Military Intelligence & Security in Migyera, in Nakasongola District during the passing out of officers who have been undergoing tactical commando training.

Museveni, who officiated over the pass out ceremony at which the successful trainees exhibited their specialized combat tactics, said that;
“Watching counter-terrorism officers undertake their military and combat drills at the UPDF School of Military Intelligence and Security in Migyera, Nakasongola. This was shortly before passing them out.”

He noted that; “One element about fighting is to be sure of yourself. When you are confident in yourself, you can handle any combat situation.”

The Commander in Chief added that; “I congratulate the indomitable officers that have completed their course at the UPDF School of Military Intelligence & Security in Migyera, Nakasongola.”
