The Jamaican sprint legend is said to be in quarantine after taking a COVID-19 test following a birthday party that was thrown for him by his friends a few days ago.
The world’s fastest runner posted a video on twitter urging everyone who had come in touch with him to self-quarantine, after rumours started circulating on social media that he had tested positive for COVID- 19.
“I’m having no symptoms so I am going to self- quarantine and wait on the confirmation, to see what is the protocol and how I should go about quarantining myself, “said the 34 year old superstar.
Bolt’s self-isolation came at a time when city events emcee and PR guru guru Isaac Rucci had also announced that he tested positive for COVID-19.

“Yeap….I got COVID-19,” Rucci wrote on Facebook on Monday.
However, he didn’t give details about whether he had also gone into self-quarantine or come into contact with some people whose lives might be at risk.
