The rate at which the only surviving Goodlyfe member Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel is being dogged by problems is starting to worry many of his fans.

A few days after being in the news for brutally clobbering his Rwandan baby mama Sandra Teta,  he is back again after he survived lynching by boda-boda riders for knocking one of their own.

Moles reveal that Weasel spent Thursday night at Kibuye Police after he was arrested for allegedly knocking a boda-boda rider.

The incident happened at around 8:00 after Weasel knocked a boda-boda rider identified as John Bosco Ssebulime, who had parked his motorcycle number UFP 147K by the roadside waiting for a client to pay him.

According to a Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) officer only identified as Major Steve, Weasel was on Thursday morning rescued by soldiers from a group of irate motorists who wanted to lynch him for allegedly knocking down and injuring one of their own.

“Weasel was rescued by our (UPDF) soldiers who were manning security outside the Makindye Barracks quarter guard,” Maj. Steve said.

He added that; “He was not arrested as it has been alleged on social media but he was brought to our security office for his own good, because the boda-bodas would have hurt him.”

Maj. Steve also revealed that after rescuing Weasel, they handed him over to detectives from Kibuye police, who also impounded the car he was driving, a Land Cruiser registration number UBH 013N, which belongs to his elder brother Jose Chameleone,  although he reportedly gave it to him.

Maj. Steve however declined to reveal whether or not Weasel was intoxicated by the time he caused the accident or not and revealed that the police would do their investigations.

He however noted that the accident was so intense that only the victim’s helmet saved him from the crash.
