Singer Wycliff Tugume alias Ykee Benda has opened up about his life without his studio Mpaka records.

The singer started up a personal recording studio after he left Badi Music Record Label. It was a dream come true for the fast-rising artiste and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Uganda Musicians Association.

To his disappointment, the ‘Eva’ singer is heartbroken because his studio is no more after unknown thugs broke into it and stole his equipment worth millions of shillings, forcing him to shut it down indefinitely.

The singer took to his social media page and expressed his grief and disappointment at how his dream is now shattered.

Ykee Benda’s emotional tweet about his studio

It should be noted that Ykee Benda’s Mpaka Records studio was broken into on Monday night by thugs who vandalised very expensive equipment and fled with others. His fully furnished studio was swept clean because equipment both for audio and visual production was stolen, leaving him totally nothing to start up again with.

A close source confirmed to ExposedUganda.com that two of his employees are under Interrogation to determine the whereabouts of the said equipment.
